Today's blog is from one of my mentors, Dan Sanders:
The movie Superman is out, and like many movies and men before this one; he is a god-like figure. As one reporter wrote, “Superman is the Jesus we wish Jesus was” That may not be an exact quote, and I don’t remember where I read it. But it is oh so true! The reason of course is that in our world of fast food, fast lanes, fast games and fast world events, we would like a few fast miracles, and Superman provides those. No praying involved, just add crises, and bingo the "Man Of Steel" appears.
This month we also have/had a super moon on June 23rd it is the Super-est of the three Super moons this year and it will not be this close again until August of 2014. That could account for the super stupid of many people?
And if you are a hockey fan, there is super excitement throughout the world of sports as the Boston Bruins and Chicago Black Hawks wrapped up their super over time nail biting super action series last night in, yes, you guessed it... "super exciting" fashion. The Boston Bruins and Chicago Black Hawks are two clubs that have been around since the mid-1920s, between them, they have won 11 Stanley Cups signifying super supremacy in the NHL.
The last time the Original 6 teams played for the championship was 1979, when the Montreal Canadians defeated the New York Rangers, four games to one. So that is super excitement.
And then there is Super Stupid AKA Justin Bieber, no explanation for that. He doesn't need a full moon.
So now we get on to this week’s super podcast where I shall endeavor to make no super sense of any of the above. But will give a few more of my super sensitive suggestions, and attempt to invoke some super serious or silly feedback
