I am tired of this as well, why is it that Blacks STILL to THIS DAY blame whites for slavery when it was other BLACK TRIBES that would sell men and some of the women (who weren't raped and killed) to whites in trade for goods and services? They want to blame whites for this and honestly how many of our families are the ones who are responsible? I know all my family came here post WWI, yet I am at fault? I call BS, get over it and move on so we can work towards the common goal of living in harmony. If I or another white celeb was to tweet "Happy N**ger day on MLK day we would be viewed as a racist and have to apologize to everyone and their mother about it, but a black man can be an arrogant POS and no one blinks an eye - talk about being a racist. Scr*w Chris Rock, I used to like him, but now I view him as being a racist and he will never be happy until white people are in chains doing his bidding. OH and don't forget in Europe whites were slaves of other whites - they were called servants and all the kings had them.

mr bj: When the president Barak obama got elected to office, I was sure that this great country had finally grown up and only a few racist people existed, however I came to see that from the first day in office, racist men and women attacked EVERYTHING the president did, and it was clearly a thinly veiled racist motivated movement, for he had not even begun to take control of the administration. where were all the white people that ahould have stood up to defent mr Obama, when clearly the old boy network challenced his name, his birthplace, his race, his nationality, his speeches, ? during his first day in office?? they kept silent !!! they did not want to rock the boat with their fellow white men neighbors.. Me as a minority myself, I experience racism everywhere every day, here we are, in 2012 and the so called tea party is attempting to drag america back to the 50's and 40's and even previous to that when a black man could still be hanged and the white man could still look the other way. When the hispanics could still be kept in the farmfields doing hazardous and exhausting work for only cents a week. where the plantations were still running strong.. I am not naive and say that we havent made progress, for this discussion and this blog would not exist if we hadnt, but to ignore the fact that we still have a very long way to go, is at the very least an idealistic and naive view, or at most just turning away and trying to bury our heads in the sand and hoping that things would go away on their own. Other wise how can one explain that in 2012, Arizona is one of a few states that does not and refuses to celebrate MLK's holiday? and the same state now is actually condoning the witchhunt into the hispanic population. when people mention illegal aliens, everyone immediately profiles all browns. yet no one says a thing about eastern european whites, canadians, pakistanis, indians, british, russians etc etc.. why? because they are not brown!!! so please, if we are all going to complain about racism, political agendas, colors, and similar things , let us all consider EVERY RACE, and every color, and every religion, and stop being hypocrites...

I'm confused about how attacking everything the President did makes someone a racist. I don't like most of what Obama has done because I think he's a socialist ideologue that has no respect for individual liberty. I don't particularly care what color his skin is. He sure does though. He's the one talking about how if he had a son, he'd look like Trayvon Martin. He's the one who said he always related more to his (black, absentee) father than the (white) relatives who raised him. It's not people like me that are making it about race. It's Obama making it about race, because he knows full well that's the only way he got elected in the first place. Regarding illegal immigrants - you know why people immediately "profile" all browns and no one says a thing about eastern european whites, canadians, pakistanis, indians, british, russians, etc etc? Because the vast majority of illegal immigrants ARE brown!! It's not profiling, and it's not racism - it's statistics!!

"From a hispanics point of view" was fairly pretentious, imo. You're saying obama was attacked? What about george bush? If that guy wasnt a goat, I dont know who is. Its politics, it has nothing to do with racism, politics is about money. If anything a minority has the advantage over a caucasian because of cry babies like you making every point against them out to be racism. Why did hispanics work in the fields for nothing? Because they came up here to do it because it was a better life for them. Im sorry they didnt cross the border legally, Im sorry that farmer paid them less so he could feed his own family. Why are hispanics disliked in arizona? Because they effect the economy in a negative way. They are certified to drive a car, because they are not legal here. Because of that they cannot be insured. They get into an accident and have no way to pay for vehicular or bodily damage, then get deported. That leaves the victim and the insurance company both at a loss. Driving up insurance rates in place with a high amount of illegals. Key word here is ILLEGAL. People coming to our country ILLEGALLY and doing ILLEGAL things. Doesnt sound like a witch hunt, sounds like common sense.
