Last week, on TV, I saw a woman at an Occupy Movement Rally with a sign that left me infuriated.
The sign had the words “Eradicate Men” written on it. That was such an awesome thing to see at an Occupy Rally, because isn’t that what the 99% are fighting for?
If you take a look at the world and local overage of all the Occupy Movements, you will see many signs, and not one cohesive thought. They really don’t have the most intelligent people representing the cause, which is very unfortunate.
From what I have come to understand, the real mission of this movement is a good one, no doubt about it, but the people who are trying to execute the mission, are failing miserably. I get a lot of grief for that, but there is nothing wrong with saying it…the truth hurts.
The statement is good, the execution is bad; you really need to find people who know what they are doing out there if you really want to make change in this country.
For example, why did they let that woman with the “Eradicate Men” sign stand there displaying that message? If I was a part of Occupy, I would have taken that sign, burned it, and told that person to get the hell out of my movement because it is people like her that makes this whole Occupy thing look like a joke.
Do you know why Nordstrom is successful? It’s because they don’t have an idiot in front of the cosmetic counter with an “Eradicate Women” sign.
With anything in life, whether it is a big nation, a big company or a protest movement, you need good representation otherwise; no one will take you seriously.
