I know we’re all excited for the holidays, and you’re very busy at the moment, but we need to talk. Just check this out for a minute, and then you can go back to the Nog.
This is just a friendly reminder that YOU HAVE LOST YOUR DAMN MIND, AMERICA.
A 6-year-old Colorado boy named Hunter has been suspended from school for “sexually harassing” a female classmate. If you need to read that again, go ahead. It’s pretty crazy, right? Wrong.
THIS is the crazy part: Hunter’s “harassment” came in the form of kissing the young girl’s hand. The “victim” had no complaint about the incident, but school officials made the decision regardless.
Right now, a kid who probably doesn’t know the first thing about sex has “sexual harassment” on his juvenile record. His mother is fighting to have it removed, at the very least; she and her son certainly deserve anything else they can fight for in this matter. The humiliation alone is terrible, but for this whole mess to erupt because of people, with decision-making power, within our education system, really bothers the hell out of me.
You can go back to the fruitcake and rum balls now, but just remember: We’re not winning the battle for common sense when things like this go down. In 2014, let’s fight a little harder every day. Who’s with me?
I have to say BJ, I've been waiting for your response on this report. I agree with you on how America needs to find exactly what is worth fighting about. If anything, the school officials should know better about what needs to be discussed within themselves and what needs to be brought to the attention of the parents.
Ridiculous. I keep thinking back to when I was maybe 10 and had, if you can even call it a crush on a girl. We use to smile shyly at each other and even occasionally brush hands. Sex? ! We had no idea what we were feeling and time when went on, and guess what it was just a part of the innocent years and growing up. This boy I hope has not been damaged as much as could be. You're told your bad, you did something bad. Interpretation could be by the boy. It's bad to feel affection.
This is why women shouldn't be the disciplinarian
When I was in school and a guy was the one hand in out the punishments it was more like suspension or detention. Now these women flip the f out over small stuff and the police get involved
Something Off the Subject Which Got Brought Up By Last Caller For Thursday 12/19
On thursday the 19th, I heard your last caller talk to you about what he got sucked into on 405, a road race at 160 m.p.h. I don't know how to do any of that stuff just like I heard you say you don't. And I drive a 2012 base Ford Mustang with 305 horsepower. It turns out that I'm happiest behind the wheel of my '69 Chevy Pick-up. That truck is a classic and I just get compliments on it. Also, it's pretty much all stock and therefore doesn't even look like it's made to go fast. So, I know I can relate to both you and that caller in at least some ways.
About my last comment up above
About my last comment up above, I can say I've had 1 too many problems with other drivers similar to that one kid who that caller talked about, messing with me on the freeways while driving my black Mustang. And it beeing a base with a V-6, it has a governor that cuts it out at 113 m.p.h., so I obviously couldn't outrace any of them. So, like I said in my last comment, I'm happiest when driving my '69 Chevy Pick-up, instead. I've even started taking my (now tired) '83 Chevy 3/4 ton more often (which I'm a real speed limit freak in), for the same reason. I am a christian, so you and I may have some differences in beliefs. But with this world we live in, there have been things you and some of your callers have talked and said about that really got my eye. And on some of those things, I know I can relate to you.
