Big thanks to Robert Englund for being on the show…what an awesome dude! You remember Robert as Freddy Kreuger in the Nightmare On Elm Street films, and he just put out a book called “Hollywood Monster” – it’s a great read, you can get it where most books are sold, but if you go to his site www.robertenglund.com and buy it there, he will autograph it!!!! Robert is starring in a new web series called Fear Clinic, and all of us agreed that this web series is too good for the web, the quality is great, and this should be on TV. All in all, Robert has had an amazing career, to which Robert said that he is a “old whore.” Some of the things we discussed during the interview included:
--Johnny Depp was the nicest kid (Johnny was in Nighmare On Elm Street)
--Once almost shot Burt Reynolds when there were real bullets in a gun.
--Robert is a fan of Jackie Earle Haley (he will be playing the new Freddy Kreuger in the Michael Bay reboot of Nightmare On Elm Street)
--Suggested we watch a film -- Let The Right One In – it’s a Swedish Vampire film (he isn’t in the film, he just loves the movie).
This morning we talked about how Hulk Hogan was on the Today Show promoting his new book “My Life Outside The Ring.” In the book & during the interview he talked about how he battled depression & was suicidal because of all the stuff he has dealt with in the last few years (his son’s car crash, his divorce, his wife being with a 20 year old, etc). I am so excited to say that Hulk Hogan will be in studio next week with us…tune in Wednesday at 8:50 to listen to our chat with the Hulkster…Hulk is bringing The Mouth Of The South Jimmy Hart with him…how awesome is that!!!!!!! I hope that I don’t just stare at him uncomfortably…I am probably going to be star struck…I mean, seriously…Hulkamania is going to run wild in studio!!!!!!!!
