Today was a rough day to have fun on air…when you report on stories like the idiot that killed Officer Brenton, and the idiot that killed all those people at Ft. Hood, it’s tough to try and find humor in all the other stuff we read about. Thankfully we were able to bring some humor with 2 great comedians that joined us this morning. Turns out that Steve is good buddies with Lisa Lampanelli, and he toured with our favorite in-studio guest…Bobby Lee. Based on Steve’s stories, Bobby likes to get naked all the time…sometimes on tour, when Steve would go into his dressing room…Bobby would be hiding behind the door…buck naked, and when Steve would spot Bobby…Bobby would stare at him and just say “Do you want to get Donuts?” If you don't recall the insanity of Bobby Lee in our studio...here is a reminder:
Big thanks to everyone that came out to Poppa’s Pub last night in Kent…it was a great time meeting everyone, and “thanks” to everyone that got me to sing on mike! Just my luck, as I am giving away my last pair of tix to Holiday Hangover Ball, on the sound system Twisted Sisters “We’re Not Gonna Take It” started playing, so…yes…thanks to the urging of everyone there, I busted out my sweet singing skills…thanks to everyone for singing along with me. I’m sure my singing led to people drinking more than they planned because it was so atrocious.
