Fredericksburg Incident Reports

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JANUARY 6, 2014
ROBBERY:
Citgo, 2005 Lafayette Blvd, 1/5 6:15 p.m. A 51-year-old city resident reported that he was
behind the business when he was approached by one or two male subjects who struck him in the
back of the head with an unknown object. The offenders reportedly stole cash from the victim’s
pocket then left the scene. The victim walked home and was transported by a friend to the
Spotsylvania Emergency Center for treatment of his head laceration. The victim was unable to
describe his assailants. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Castiglia’s, 324 William St, 1/04 11:50 p.m. Police responded for a disturbance between two
females. The victim, a 23-year-old city resident, told officers that she was sitting in a booth at
the bar when she realized her purse was missing. While she was looking for it, a male walked up
to another female inside the bar and attempted to return the missing purse to her, saying that she
had left it behind in the restroom. The owner of the purse intervened and took the purse from the
male, but when she realized that it had been emptied of its contents, she followed the other
female outside the restaurant and called police. The victim’s credit cards and other items were
found inside the clothing of the second female. Ashley Henry, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested
for grand larceny and two counts of possession of stolen credit cards. Henry was incarcerated at
the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $3500 bond.
VRE Lot H, 299 Prince Edward St, 12/27 – 1/5 9:20 p.m. An officer patrolling in the area
discovered a vehicle that was missing its license plates. After contacting the vehicle owner, it
was confirmed that the plates had been stolen. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Paragon Gymnastics, 1410 Central Park Blvd, 1/5 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. A patron reported that
an unknown person stole the license plates from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
VANDALISM:
400 block Princess Elizabeth St, 12/29 – 1/3 3:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown
person slashed two tires on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
400 block Lafayette Blvd, 1/3 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
scratched and damaged her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Wash and Fold Laundry, 503 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 1/5 1:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. An officer
patrolling in the area discovered the front door to the business open and damaged. The
investigation is ongoing.
DUI ARRESTS:
Brian Carlson, 40, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1400 block of Central Park
Boulevard.
ARRESTS:
Veronica Barley, 19, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Juvenile female, 15, was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Tyrone Tillery, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from Virginia Beach charging
him with robbery, malicious wounding, conspiracy, and use of a firearm in the commission of a
felony.
Jessica Eller, 32, of Culpeper was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of a schedule IV
narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Glenn Taylor, 47, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Advance Auto parts,
possession of burglary tools, and failure to appear in court.
Giovanni Silvestri, 33, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Prince William County
charging him with failure to appear in court.
