Fredericksburg Police Department Incident Reports

FRIDAY, JANUARY 17, 2014
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY:
200 block Greystone Ct, 1/16 6:20 p.m. A 22-year-old man reported that he was outside his
apartment building when he was approached by three males who started taunting him verbally.
One of the unknown subjects reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, then started going through
his pockets in an attempt to steal from him. After realizing the victim didn’t have any cash, one
of the suspects stabbed the victim in the back before all three fled from the scene. The victim
was transported by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which
included a partially collapsed lung. The three suspects were described as black males; two were
wearing hoodies and the one armed with a gun was reportedly wearing a mask. The
investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:
1000 block Black Oak Ct, 12/15 – 1/16 1:30 p.m. A neighbor reported seeing a man hanging
around on the porch of an unoccupied home and while the suspicious subject was not there when
police arrived, officers discovered evidence that someone had tried to break in through the
basement doors and a window. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Lowes, 1361 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/16 4:50 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. A customer reported that an
unknown person stole a quantity of scrap metal from the back of his truck. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Walker Grant Middle School, 1 Learning Ln, 1/16 4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. An employee reported
that an unknown person stole his cell phone from his office desk. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
VANDALISM:
Algoma Hardwoods, 218 Central Rd, 1/16 – 1/17 6:00 p.m. An employee reported that an
unknown person shattered the windshield on a company truck. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
DUI ARRESTS:
John Roller, 44, of Stafford was arrested for DUI in the 1200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
ARRESTS:
Nicholas Rawlings, 26, of St. Leonard, Maryland was arrested for obtaining money by false
pretenses and shoplifting from Walmart.
Holly Noyes, 27, of St. Leonard, Maryland was arrested for obtaining money by false pretenses
and shoplifting from Walmart
