Kingdom Of Sorrow - Live at Mayhem Fest 2011
Hello again, Northwest Metal Tribe!
This is the first of what will be a flood of video and content Kevin and I collected earlier today down in Auburn at the White River Amphitheater during the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. We interviewed Megadeth, Unearth, Suicide Silence, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Disturbed, All Shall Perish and many more during our adventures in the dirty south end this afternoon and we will be slowly pushing those video interviews out as we get them processed over the course of the week.
Earlier today we sat down with Jamey Jasta, frontman for KOS and he mentioned that so many younger kids who didn't know who Hatebreed, Crowbar or Down were were coming up to their booth and getting stoked on their tunes. This is a perfect example of what festivals like Mayhem do best: bring in more mainstream leaning crowds, and provide them with a brief education on some great underground heavy metal. That said, we couldn't drive home fast enough to post up this next video. Feast your eyes upon Kingdom Of Sorrow playing Enlightened To Extinction live on the Jagermeister stage down at the White River Amphitheater earlier today. This comes off their record Behind The Blackest Tears out now on Relapse Records.
