DAVID LEE ROTH: Might as Well Get Inked
While in Japan over the last few months, sword training with Shungendo monk Sueyoshi Akeshi, David Lee Roth decided to get the majority of his back tattooed. He's posted a photo of the inking in action on his website with the caption, "So very autobiographic." It's tough to tell what the tattoo is from the angle of the photo, but it appears it could be a snake or a dragon.
Van Halen was scheduled to tour Japan in November, but had to cancel after Eddie Van Halen had surgery for diverticulitis, an inflammation and infection of the intestines.
