Prince William County Police Department Incident Report

**INCIDENTS**
 
Armed Robbery – On May 11th at 12:30AM, officers responded to the 8300 block of Irongate Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 45 year old man of Roosevelt NY, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man pointed an unknown object against the victim’s back and demanded his property. The suspect took jewelry and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim believed the object pointed to his back was a handgun; however, no weapon was seen. The victim never faced the suspect and was unable to provide police with a description.
 
Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On May 12th at 6:33PM, officers responded to the 13100 block of Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by an unknown male suspect. The suspect demanded the victim’s cell phone which led to a physical altercation. During the altercation, the victim inadvertently stepped in the roadway and bumped into a passing motorist. The suspect fled the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported and no property was taken from the victim.
                Suspect Description:
White male, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5’8”, 160lbs with a medium build and long black hair
Last seen wearing no shirt, black shorts with a red stripe, black shoes, and carrying a white shirt
 
Commercial Burglary – On May 11th at 12:45AM, officers responded to Chic Envy located at 7937 Stonewall Shops Sq in Gainesville (20155) after receiving an alarm activation from the business. Officers arrived and discovered the front glass door was broken out. Officers and a police K-9 checked the business. No suspect(s) were located. A cash register containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
 

Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 8th at 1:17PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 11200 block of Soldiers Ridge Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that at around 11:30PM on May 7th, he heard a sound coming from his bedroom window. The resident further stated that he could see a hand by the window but did not see the suspect’s face. The screen on the window appeared to have had been removed. No entry was made into the apartment and no property was reported missing.
