Prince William County Police Department Incident Report

**INCIDENTS**
 
Residential Burglary – On May 14th at 6:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Neddleton Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:15AM and 5:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a kitchen window. Jewelry, total value around $2,300, was reported missing.
 
Commercial Burglary – On May 14th at 7:29AM, officers responded to A-1 Cleaners located at 5509 Mapledale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00PM on May 13th and 6:40AM on May 14th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a door which was found damaged. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
 
Commercial Burglary – On May 14th at 4:21AM, officers responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 9685 Liberia Ave, suite 101 in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:30AM and 1:00AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a glass front door which was broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
 
Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 14th at 8:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7500 block of Alleghany Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 8:00AM on May 7th and 5:00PM on May 14th, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through a side window which was broken out. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
 
                                                                                          

**ARRESTS**

Narcotics Investigation – On April 10th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of illegal drugs with the execution of a search warrant at 4611 Evansdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193). As a result of the search, suspected cocaine, marijuana, 2 handguns, evidence of distribution, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.
                Arrested on April 10th:
                Lawrence William LAWTON, 42, of 4611 Evansdale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm with scheduled narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
