Request Log = Democracy In Action
You read correctly. Along with our weekly playlist, Ian and I have decided to start posting a weekly request log. Not only will this give you a sense of validation for the request that we might not have gotten to, but it will also help us create an almighty masterlist to input into the electronic mainframe of the digi-computation screen.
What does all of this mean?
1.) It means I've been watching too much of Hackers with Angeline Jolie....But who could resist?
2.) It means that at the end of the year, we will have a list of the top requested artists and songs of the year. Of course, being that we weren't the hosts of the show for the whole year, it's not 100 percent accurate. But who's counting? Us, apparently.
So get ready to start requesting more music. Ian and I are working hard to get as much underground independent metal on the air, so do us a favor and throw your favorite song at us as a request. Even if it's something we've already played, there's always room for a request.
Also, listen to Crowbar. That is my one request for you this week. If you dig Crowbar, then we can be friends. Guess what? They've got a new album on the way, and I just saw on their Facebook page that Kirk is recording vocals...probably as I type this. None heavier than Crowbar. All hail the riff.
Until next time. Horns up!
