Rolling Stone released a really good interview with the bands time in Denmark and the recording of the album. Sh*t I even found out something I didn’t know.
Lars Ulrich: “Mercyful Fate's rehearsal room was right next to Sweet Silence Studios. We actually finished the last couple of songs we did for Ride the Lightning – like "Fade to Black," "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Escape" – in their rehearsal room.
