BLACK SABBATH: Set U.K. Chart Record Black Sabbath have set a U.K. chart record for the longest gap between number-one albums. 13 bowed at number-one, 42 years and eight months after their second album Paranoidhit the top. That breaks Bob Dylan's record of 38 years between New Morning in 1970 and Together Through Life in 2009. Sabbath's last Top 10 U.K. album was 1983's Born Again.
Sabbath are expected to score their first number-one album in the U.S. when the sales figures from last week are released on Wednesday.
