Arrests Made, April 28, 2014 – May 4, 2014
On 5/4/14, Deputy Tavarez arrested Colton Beltran, 24 of Spotsylvania and Jasmin Spoon, 21 of Spotsylvania for Shoplifting from Wal-Mart. Both released on a summons.
On 5/4/14, Deputy Buccola responded to a residence in the Chancellor West Subdivision for a Residential Breaking and Entering. An investigation was conducted as a result of the B&E, and 8 juvenile suspects were linked to the crime. The juveniles, ranging from 15 to 17 years of age, were interviewed and subsequently charged with Breaking and Entering, Grand Larceny, and Destruction of Property. Petitions were obtained by Deputy Buccola.
On 5/1/14, Deputy Fuller arrested Alison Millner, 33 of Stafford for Shoplifting from the Giant store at Harrison Crossing as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 4/29/14, Deputy Handy arrested Maritza Martinez and Jennifer Tejada, both 19, of Spotsylvania for Shoplifting from the Pac-Sun inside the Spotsylvania Towne Centre. Both were released on a summons.
On 5/4/14, Deputy M. Jones arrested Kayla Hall, 18 of Spotsylvania for Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer at the Magistrate's Office. Deputy Jones was initially assisting Virginia State Police with a transport of a prisoner.
On 4/30/14, Deputy Spillman responded to Legends Bar and Grill and charged Mark Merrix, 46 of Bristow with misdemeanor Brandishing a knife after an altercation with another employee.
On 4/29/14, Sr. Deputy H. Vasquez arrested Franklin Lewis, 75 of Spotsylvania for Malicious Wounding and Prevention of Dialing 911 in the 6900 block of Old Courthouse Rd.
On 4/30/14, Deputy Slate responded to a single motor vehicle accident in the area of Orange Plank Road and Herndon Road. During the investigation of this accident James Lester Hawkins, 49 of Spotsylvania was charged with DUI.
On 5/1/14, Sr. Deputy Tillman arrested Tammy Blaney, 41 of Spotsylvania for DUI with a minor in the vehicle after a traffic stop was conducted at Harrison Road and Gordon Road for illegal window tint.
On 4/30/14, Deputy M. Jones arrested Clinton Pethel, 28 of North Carolina for DUI at 6228 Jefferson Davis Hwy (McDonalds).
On 5/4/14, Deputy Wright arrested Brandy Jones, 28 of Spotsylvania for Possession of Marijuana at Cosner Park.
On 5/4/14, Deputy M. Jones arrested Christopher Turner, 23 of Spotsylvania for Possession of Heroin in the area of Nyland Rd. and Guinea Station Rd.
On 5/3/14, Deputy M. Jones charged China Colemen, 26 of Spotsylvania with Possession of Marijuana at Mudd Tavern Rd and Jefferson Davis Hwy. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop for defective equipment.
On 4/29/14, Deputy C. Polliard arrested Ashley Rivenbark, 23 of Stafford for Possession of a Schedule I/II Narcotic, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop at RT1/I95.
On 5/4/14, Deputy J. Morris arrested Frederick Covington, 42 of Spotsylvania for Public Intoxication on Pool Dr.
On 5/4/14, Sergeant Assur arrested Johnthan Carr, 24 of Spotsylvania on a fugitive bench warrant with full extradition from MD.
On 5/4/14, Deputy Buccola arrested Dustin Bone, 22 from Spotsylvania in the 5000 Block of Jefferson Davis Hwy for a Felon in possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Concealed Weapon, False ID to Law Enforcement, Expired State Rejection Sticker, and Expired State Registration as a result of a traffic stop.
On 5/3/14, Deputy Handy arrested Christopher Gore, 44 of no fixed address on a warrant service. During the arrest Deputy Handy located several needles, which belonged to Gore.
On 5/3/14, Deputy C. Smeal arrested Ki Yeoul Song, 33 of Maryland for Public Intoxication in the 9900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.
