Brothers 1/31/13
So this weekend we have two brothers coaching against each other in a Super bowl which I think is awesome. Now if your not a male with a brother it might be harder to appreciate how cool this is. I have a older brother that is seven years older then me and I always look to my brother for support and advice but I tell you right now I would love the chance to beat him in a Super bowl. My brother was better overall at baseball then I ever was but I always remind him that I could hit. I like to tell the story of how I had a unassisted triple play in tee ball and he will counter with how I ran to the third the first time I got a hit. We both coached one summer at a basketball camp for the great Morgan Wootten and my brothers team beat my team and I have not lived it down yet, this was twelve years ago. My point I am getting to is my brother and I are a ton alike and a ton differnt but we still want to win and if that win comes over my brother even better because you bet your ass he is going to hear it at Christmas every year from me. Don't get me wrong I love my brother and I know the Harbaugh's love each other but this win is going to be all the more sweet to one. Also let it be know that little brothers everywhere are rooting for Jim because well ,he is the little brother.

Random thoughts 1/16/13

So the sun has been out and kicking butt here in Seattle but it has been cold. Now myself I will take the sunshine and cold temperatures any day of the week. Now snowboarders and skiers I hear you and you guys want some new snow which will come don't worry but for now I am down with the sun. Sometimes I don't realize how much I like sun until I see it again and enjoy its power of shine and warmth. I would also say when it's a sunny crisp day in Seattle it is the most beautiful city in the USA. I love all times of year here but when the mountains sing out loud it all makes sense if your in Seattle. The other thing that has me fired up this time of year is the NFL playoffs and I am not even the biggest NFL in the world. Every time I say that to someone I realize I need to stop saying that because I do watch NFL every Sunday. Either way I hope your new year is going well and you have stuck to your resolution but if you have not go ahead and enjoy a cigarette after reading this blog. I am off to walk home in the cold since I was not smart enough to wear my heavy jacket today.

Sports and Holiday's 1/2/2013

So Christmas is one of my favorite times of years for a lot of different reason's but sports are a big part of it. Now I could sit here and tell you about how my birthday is also on Christmas eve, I could tell you about all the fun times with some of my buds back home but really sports is a huge factor in all of this. New Years eve I never even went out and just at home watching college football. If you read my blog you know that I am a soccer fan as well and on the day after Christmas in England it's called Boxing day and they have EPL games which is awesome then bamm a couple days later games again and on New Years day. Now add on top of this that you are spending time with people you like hopefully since it is Christmas time and you have the final season games of the NFL, which leads to playoffs. That's right this weekend after that feast of games is NFL playoff time and like you Seahawks fans I am fired up. I am fired for a different reason GO REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!!! Should be a fun week in Seattle for this guy. HAIL
