Merry Christmas 12/20/13
It is the end of the year for me and my blog so this is the last post. 2013 I thought was a great year. I don't know about you but I ventured out and tried and did some different things. I know this will shock you but I went to a few weddings this year and traveled a lot. The travel this year was unreal, I hit up Scottsdale, San Francisco, Miami, DC, Ocean City MD, Las Vegas and DC again. I also made my annual trip to Summer Meltdown up north in Darrington and had a amazing Meltdown. This year I also was happy to roll out Thee Podcast along with my buddy Cobb and Matt. Cobb is my co-host and Matt is the producer. Thanks to everyone that has checked out Thee podcast by the way. I think that I have given you many different thoughts this year and I hope you listen to some and ignore some other. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and spend some time with people you like, if you don't have anyone then treat yourself to a nice Christmas meal. Cheers from your bud Ted

Shopping 12/17/13
It is December seventeenth and I have a question for you and that is did you get your Christmas shopping done? Now I am not going to sit and tell you that you have to run out and buy gifts for people that are must haves because there is no must have Christmas gift. Christmas gifts I think should be for people you like to be with and around. Now for kids in your life I like to make sure that gifts are there on time because they are kids but for adults just buy gifts for people you like. Also you don't have to break the bank for gifts, sometimes people are happy with a small gift that someone will use. Last year someone gave me a little digital meat thermometer that I used a ton. It was great gift. I guess my point is if there are people you want to buy gifts for they get on it soon because time is running out but shop accordingly. Now this year I am staying in Seattle for the first time for Christmas and I sent home all the gifts I needed too and next Monday will be my shopping day. Now traditionally back in he day my Brother and I would shop and get all the gifts then a few beers. This year I plan to keep that up on the twenty-third. My Brother is forty today by the way and I just thought I should mention that he is old. Coach Brady and Mom that is for you two.

Christmas Lights 12/5/13
I have seen a lot of good Christmas lights already this year on houses and apartments downtown. Now you know that I love me some Christmas lights and I am stoked they are up. I have a very modest display going on my place in Belltown but I am thinking about amping it up a little since some of my neighbors have clearly thrown down the gantlet. See here is the thing my one neighbor has these lights he puts up every year and they are awesome but he always gets them up right before mine. The other odd thing is I never this guy but come Thanksgiving night those awesome lights are up. Then this week the guy under him right across from put up a tree on his deck. This Christmas light war is on and I will not back down. I plan this weekend to hit up some stores and really amp up my display outside my place. I am thinking I need some blinking stuff and maybe a Santa or a star. I hope that you have been working on your Christmas lights and are having fun. I think this will be on those topics I blog about a few times this month. I will update you on this developing situation soon folks

Coaches leave 12/3/13
I saw yesterday that the coach from the university of Washington Steve Sarkisian left the school to go coach at USC. Now I do think that it sucks that nineteen and twenty year old have to make a choice about a school and stay a for all four years or get penalized a year for leaving but these rich coaches can have buyouts and leave whenever. That part I do not agree with at all but do I think he owed the school to be loyal? NO he did not. It is like most things in this country right now college football in a business and in business the way is taught is it is cut throat. See years ago when the USA decided that money trumps everything else and corporations are people that this is what you get. The big corporations have no loyalty to anyone but more money and in turn people now a days feel no loyalty to these corporations. College football is different as in they have buy out clauses in the contracts of these millionaires or coaches as some call them. My point is that college football like most things want it both ways and that does not happen. Loyalty in the end to be should your friends and family and even then you only need to be loyal to the ones that are loyal to you. Also don't get confused do you job and honor your contract like a good employee but just keep your eyes on the prize which is life and not work. I know a ton of wealthier people who frankly are sad and miserable. Coach Sark left for more money and to go back home or did he leave because of what he has learned and thought he needed more money. Either way the only people who really should be upset are the players at U-Dub
