Van Halen’s first album released in 1978 will be turning 35 years old on Sunday. Arguably one of the greatest hard rock debuts of ALL time! KISW has really cool history with the band. KISW Hall Of Famer Steve Slayton has amazing stories of playing them first (as legend goes!) having each band member show up in their own limo with cases of champagne and strippers for KISW’S 15th Anniversary and countless other stories!
Van Halen’s self-titled album holds up remarkably well to this day! The actual anniversary is on Sunday but in true Friday party rock fashion I’ll play the whole thing for ya, Side A and Side B Friday starting at 6pm!!
