Marilyn Manson Forced To Cancel 9 Shows Following Onstage Injury

October 2, 2017

Midway through his concert in New York City, Marilyn Manson had to cut the show short after a large stage prop collapsed on top of the singer during his cover of "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics. Fan-shot footage of the incident has emerged.

After stagehands rushed to remove the prop off of the singer, he was promptly placed on a stretcher and transported to the hospital. Although Manson is in good health, his injury has forced him to cancel nine of his upcoming dates on his North American tour.

Manson's bandmate Tyler Bates shared the below Instagram post, promising Manson will be back at it soon enough.

Well, the @marilynmanson @marilynmanson_cult @heaven Upside Down tour is on pause for a minute. Heading home. Manson will be back in action soon. Heaven Upside Down is released October 6th, with an insane video to stoke the fire. See you soon! @schecterguitarsofficial @tylerbatesfan
