Migs Blog: MegaCast Chats w/ AJ Francis of the Hawks

So Thee Ted Smith and I do a podcast called The Mega Cast!  We love doing it as it “forces” us to make sure we get together and catch up at least once a week.

Well... typically we record it on Wednesday afternoons around 11:30am…as my day is concluding and Ted’s day is starting…but every once in a while we get together at night after The Mens Room finish their show.  That is what we did yesterday…and the night shows are usually a little looser and sillier than the afternoon episodes.  We aren’t sure why, but for some reason they are…

Yesterday’s show was no exception… during the episode we decided that we are going to adopt a child…a 40 year old woman to be exact…then we thought we should also adopt a pet monkey…then we talked about crying in front of men…how I was once banned from the Mariners locker room due to who I worked with…how free stuff rules no matter how rich you are…and then we decided to call a Seattle Seahawks player in the middle of the night.

Which Seahawk?  My bud AJ Francis.  I met and hung with AJ in Dallas during WrestleMania weekend...

We had AJ join us on air when I broadcasted live at WrestleMania Radio Row...plus he joined us for the Wrestlemania episode of the Migs Cast.

Why would we call AJ while he's at home at around midnight ET?  Well as a back story…Ted & AJ went to rival high schools in the Maryland area.  Ted went to DeMatha, and AJ went to Gonzaga.  Last week on our podcast, Ted showed off an odd thing that he can do with his thumb…

This led to AJ chiming in…

So we noticed that he sent that DeTrasha tweet while we were podcasting…so we gave him a call and it was AWESOME!

Check out this week’s episode of the MegaCast HERE.

Also… AJ does a great wrestling podcast with a couple of buds… Glenn Clark and Aaron Oster.  The show is called “Jobbing Out”, and I have been lucky enough to be on the show a few weeks ago.  It’s a wrasslin’ podcast and it’s very funny.  Plus they had one of the best interviews I have ever heard with Bret “The Hitman” Hart!  Here is a link to the podcast page… https://soundcloud.com/jobbingout ... you can also find it on iTUNES!
