Rock Blog: Tye Trujillo Plays His First Gigs With Korn
Korn welcomed 12-year-old Tye Trujillo on stage with them on Monday night, his first gig as their fill-in bassist. The son of Robert Trujillo of Metallica is filling in for Fieldy, who's not joining the band on their South American tour dates due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Monday's show in Colombia showed off his skills with Tye crushing a bass solo before Ray Luzier's drum solo. Then, during "Shoots and Ladders", Korn went into snippet of Metallica's "One". This kid is knocking socks off already!
Fieldy will be back with the band when Korn headlines Pain In The Grass on Saturday June 24th at White River Amphitheatre. Ticket on sale now at kiswpaininthegrass.com.
