Halloween Movies For Scaredy Cats

Happy Weekend Before Halloween! It’s basically an extension of one of the best holidays in my opinion! Many folks are going to be out in their costumes celebrating at a party or simply staying in with some take out and watching their favorite scary movies.

Here’s the deal: As much as I love Halloween, dressing up as scary demons and zombies…

I. Hate. Horror. Movies.

I really do.

Having an overactive imagination and vivid dreams do not make a good combo when watching any suspenseful and/or gory movies.

Now, every now and then I find one I like for example “Get Out” was fantastic, but it wasn’t gory really. That did get me thinking, if you are like me (or maybe have little ones you’ll be hanging out with) and you still want to watch a few movies that won’t make your heart race so much, you’ll probably want to check some of these out!

Halloween town!

What would you do if you found out your'e actually a witch? Also, Debbie Reynolds as an awesome witch grandmother? Can't go wrong!

RIP Debbie Reynolds!

Nightmare Before Christmas

Aside from Oogie Boogie, there isn't really a lot of scary stuff going on, and its a classic with an amazing soundtrack (both the new one done by rock singers and the orginal)

Hocus Pocus

Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, nuff said.

Addams Family

Both the first and second movies were ones that were viewed in our home growing up all the time. And seriously, Morticia and Gomez are my #RelationshipGoals.

What "non-scary" Halloween is at the top of your list?

Until Next Time, Stay Nerdy!
