Over the weekend, Foo Fighters played Napa Valley’s BottleRock Festival. In the fan-shot video below, you can see the band deliver a riveting rendition of “Happy Birthday” for Dave Grohl’s wife before launching into a killer performance of “Everlong” … and then the sound cuts out around 5:30.

But apparently this wasn’t a Radiohead-at-Coachella moment. According to Billboard, the festival has a strict curfew, and the Foo Fighters’ set ran over the 10 PM limit, causing festival workers to cut the band’s sound.

That didn’t stop the guys from carrying on, though, because … Foo. They also got some help on vocals from the audience, prompting fans to ask themselves, “And I wonder, when I sing along with you, if everything could ever feel this real forever?”
