Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: 3 Rock-Girl-Approved Fall Hikes

November 2, 2016

POWERED BY VISIT BEND:

Rock Girl Chelly is the COOLEST! I'm so lucky to have gotten to know her over the past few years as a part of the KISW family. One of the things I dig most about her is her love for the great outdoors. She's an avid hiker and has conquered some gorgeous fall hikes in the PNW these past few weeks. Rain or shine, get out there and check out some of Chelly's favorite places to adventure!

1. Heather Lake - Under 5 miles round trip, this is the perfect hike to crank out this weekend. You'll find Heather Lake off the northeast slope of Mount Pilchuck, accessed via Mountain Loop Highway.

2. Bridal Veil Falls - At 4 miles round trip, you'll find Bridal Veil Falls off the Lake Serene trail near Index on your way to Stevens Pass off Highway 2.

3. Boulder River - This hike into the Boulder River wilderness is long but gentle! Off Highway 530 (Arlington/Darrington exit), you'll absolutely love connecting with the North Cascades forest.

All three of these gorgeous fall hikes in the PNW are Rock-Girl-Chelly-Approved! Thanks for sharing your love for the outdoors, Chelly!
