Big thanks to JJ Abrams for calling in this morning! He joined us to chat about his new movie Star trek, and was blown away by the fact that BJ has seen the new Star trek 4 times already.
Happy Drive Nice Day! Yes…there is an actual day dedicated to this stupid concept…and it’s today. As part of Drive Nice Day, Seattle and Tacoma will compete to see which city has the nicest drivers. Wow. We sent Mono-Nick out to where the “Drive Nice Patrol” was located, and had him interview a trooper…it was pretty funny!!!

Thanks to Sasha Grey for calling in. Sasha is a porn star (star of Sasha Greys Anatomy –hah) that is going mainstream…Sasha stars in the new Steven Soderbergh film, The Girlfriend Experience. Plus she is featured in this months Riolling Stone, and called The Dirtiest Girl In The World…sweet!!!!! I know we aren’t the “American Idol” show…we almost never talk about it, but last night was the season finale & I’ve been watching it all season. The reason why I am a fan of the show is for one reason…no, not Randy Jackson’s amazing vocabulary (check it out Dawg…that’s off the hook Dawg!)…it’s because of Adam Lambert. This dude rocks…he brought a rock edge to the show, and every week he would twist things up with his interesting version of the songs he had to sing. The guy rules, and I was SHOCKED that he lost to the Jason Mraz/John Mayer wanna-be Kris. Last night was sweet though, as KISS made an appearance, and Adam got to sing with them…check it out:

I’ve never said this before about an American Idol artist, but I am excited for when this guy puts out a CD…I think it’s going to be a killer disc. The guy covered Zeppelin & Queen this season…and did the songs total justice.
