What up blogger? So this weekend the USA soccer team is trying to win its first FIFA title for anything. The world cup is clearly what everyone wants to win but the Confederations cup is a big one and this would be a huge win for the USA and the soccer program. It would show the world that we are not a team that is to be walked over anymore. I think there are many reasons why we are not a world power in soccer but the main thing is that our best athleates don't play soccer. They play other sports and I can't blame them, as much as I love soccer now it took me 28 years to relize that I like the sport. College football is still my number one passion in life but soccer is moveing up the charts quickly. I just think a guy like Allen Iverson who is a great basketball player and also was the man in high school at football and could have played college could easyally play soccer very well. I think in time soccer will be bigger in the USA because it is the biggest sport in the world and it's ok to like soccer too. I think sometimes un-fortantly in this country we are afaired of differnt culters and the soccer culter is differnt from our sports. I mean look at some of the mensroom rules that get preposed sometimes. They are blantly homo-phopic and thats about it. I got news for you its ok to hug your buddy when the Sounders score a goal. Its ok to stand arm and arm with your freinds and sing songs or chants with you buds. Either way Sunday is the final for the Confedartions cup and the USA are playing the Brazilins who are great. I hope you tune in at 11 am and watch the butiful game in all of its glory and lets go USA
