Last night was CrueFest 2 at White River…talk about a hot ass day to be outside, and people were agro. I made a personal goal to not let the heat get to me, no matter how hot it got….and I totally understand why some people were losing their minds…it was humid & hot. It reminded me of living in NYC in the summer…it makes you miserable. Watch Do The Right Thing by Spike Lee…yes, it deals with racial issues in the city, but at the core…the reason there was so much b.s. going on was because of how hot it is in the summer, and how that puts people in horrible moods. Godsmack were amazing…they played all their hits & jammed out at the end with a double drummer jam with frontman Sully & their drummer Shannon rocking out. Then Motley Crue came on, and they were really good…only one issue…on some of the songs like Dr Feelgood, and Shout At The Devil specifically…Vinces voice didn’t have the power it once did. It was kind of a bummer, because those are two of my fave Crue songs, and they sounded like the cow manure we could smell in the air last night. I have never been one to encourage a backing vocal track, but I think the time has come for Vince to do that…hell, it’s not like the band wasn’t using backing tracks…unless Mick & Nikki were farting keyboard & horn parts…I am assuming they had some prerecorded tracks being used…that, or a keyboardist behind the scenes. It’s funny, it brought me back to being 14 years old…20 years ago, when I went to my first concert ever, and it was Motley Crue during their Dr. Feelgood tour…and I remember thinking back then that it was strange that there were instruments being played that weren’t on stage.
Kasey Keller was supposed to be on the show, but things got all screwed up because he is in Utah preparing for the MLS all star game. Yesterday Double R hung with Kasey while Kasey was going to fly with the Blue Angels. Check out Double R’s sports vlog here:

Did ya happen to catch Shaq last night on RAW? It was awesome…finally a good celebrity guest host:
Today was Day 3 of sending Intern Vicky Barcelona to Jack In The Box to see how long it will take her to get us food from JITB…which is 3 miles from us. Day one took over 2 hours, Day 2 took 57 minutes, and today we changed it up a bit, and sent Double R out as well to see who gets us the food first. In less than 6 minutes, Dub was already at the drive thru!!! It wound up taking Double R 24 minutes & 55 seconds, and it took Vicky a respectable 33 minutes and 5 seconds!
Today’s Video Blog is all about a strange desktop background Double R had on his computer!
