I recently started up my own business and also joined a networking group. When meeting another professional from the networking group we went to lunch at Hooters.
A woman on the membership committee found this to be unprofessionally offensive. It is because of this that they have refused to accept me into their networking group. Is meeting for lunch at Hooters (with another guy) really unprofessional?
How can people hate on Hooters? It’s the home of the Frickle!!!!! Yes, a deep fried delicious pickle!
Huge thanks to Mary Jo Buttafuoco for joining us this morning…Mary is the woman that was shot she has a new book called “Getting It Through My Thick Skull” -- You know that a woman who made news 17 years ago for being shot in the head by Amy Fisher must have a great sense of humor if she is going to call her book that. The interview was great, she was very honest about what has happened in her life since that incident, and she even answered my stupid question…if she ever watched her ex’s (Joey Buttafuoco) sex tape. She said someone sent her the link, and she tried watching it & she stopped shortly into it because it was gross…she said that she was disgusted by it & couldn’t believe she had sex with him for 20 years—haha!!!!!
Also…Thanks to Red Sox star Dustin Pedroia for calling in as well..Dustin has a new book out called Born To Play…he was a great dude, he got a kick out of the fact that I told him I am from a family of Yankees fans, and when I told my mom that we were gonna have him on…she said “Why are you talking to that bum?”
We chatted about my video blog yesterday (Nashville Radio Convention), and how Sully from the Lamont & Tonelli show (San Fran show) was the star of it, as we had people from radio shows Shot Gun Beers in a bathroom…well during the video blog, Sully decided to use the bathroom to do a #1, and while doing so…Double R decided to “Meat Gaze.” Look at the evidence here:
Speaking of Double R, because of our interview the other day with Chris Kattan…Double R made the trip to Bainbridge Island to check out Frog Rock. The funny part about all of this, is that Double R texted me to ask if I had Chris Kattan’s number handy…yes, he actually was gonna call Chris for the simple fact that he needed directions to get to frog Rock. Priceless!!!!
