BJ’s therapist told him to fire people who aren’t getting the job done in his life…so I guess in the last week, BJ has fired 3 people…no, not from our show…but people he employs to do stuff for him in his personal life. BJ just let his technology expert guy go…I guess he was having some issues with some tech stuff in his home, and finally cut ties with the guy. He left the guy a voicemail since the guy wouldn’t answer his phone, and in the voicemail…BJ said “Don’t ever call me again!” Then the guy sent BJ a long email…which I found funny since he didn’t call BJ, but still found a way to get to BJ.
So Glen the Tool Box was on the show this morning to chat about how he is doing comedy tonight at The Great American Casino in Tukwila tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $5, or as Glen pronounced it: “5 Butts.” Glen gave us a taste of his comedy, which included Russian impressions, Spanish impressions, and jokes about O.J. Simpson…yes…the year is 2009, not 1994. Go check Glen out if you are in the area!
Here is a dumb question…when you get too many speeding tickets they will eventually take your license away…what happens when you get too many jaywalking tickets? Do they take your shoes away? I ask because the G.M. of the White Sox got a jaywalking ticket here in Seattle:
SEATTLE — Chicago White Sox general manager Ken Williams is done talking about his $56 jaywalking ticket courtesy of Seattle police. His manager, Ozzie Guillen, was still getting a chuckle out of it. The always quotable Guillen said on Tuesday that he wants to try and get a jaywalking ticket from the local police, a day after Williams was nabbed outside of Safeco Field. "I want to get one. I want to walk around on purpose and see if they can give me (one)," Guillen said. "I want to frame that thing." While Guillen was having fun at his GM's expense, he also expressed respect for the laws of the city and said even visitors must respect and abide by the local rules. "It's something that you have to be aware (of). Kenny is not the only one," Guillen said. "It's kind of weird, but it is what it is."
Today was a bummer day for the Rev, as we got audio of the Kevin & Virginia show in Florida talking about The Rev. If you aren’t up to speed to whats going on…BJ is going to fly out their producer to Seattle because he “C”-Blocked The Rev at the Morning Show convention when Rev was trying to chat with her. Well, a listener hipped us to the fact that they were talking about the Rev, goofing on him, and the girl BJ is flying out for the date said that on a scale of 1 to 10…the Rev is a 2.5. A 2.5??? Ouch!!!!!! I don’t blame the Rev for bumming…no one in their right mind would be excited to go out with someone that thinks they are a 2.5!!!!! So we had the Kevin & Virgina show on the air..actually we had Virginia, Heather, and intern Annabelle on, and The Rev made the decision that the date was OFF! The girls seemed bummed about that, as they brought up the point that they were just joking for radio purposes…in fact most of the goofing was done by the dudes, and were actually very excited to come to Seattle…hell, they are now willing to fly themselves out to make this date still happen. After all was said & done…we feel that the Rev should give her a second chance, but the Rev wasn’t having it..although he is going to give it a day to make a decision.
