I walked in this morning to see the latest round in the war between Miles (from the Mens Room) & I over who could EFF with the other with an inappropriate desktop background. The last few days have been fun, but sadly Dad (AKA BJ) caused us to have to toss in the towel) because he felt what Miles did couldn’t be topped without us getting in trouble. We fought about it on air, but at the end of the day if the whole team isn’t having fun with this…it isn’t worth it. So here is the desktop background I left for Miles. Sad. I was having fun with this, but because Dad doesn’t want us to try and one up the pic where Miles shows us that his favorite Green Day CD is “Dookie”, I can’t play the game anymore. So like Mayor Nickels, I conceded & sent Miles this email:
Congrats on a truly epic desktop. Sadly your sickness has caused "dad" (BJ) to shut our fun down on our end.!
P.S. It looks like you had pizza for lunch.

BJ Novak called in this morning to chat about Inglourious Basterds. BJ is also in the Office, and he had BJ (Shea)convinced that he was bummed by an audio clip we played this morning from Quentin Tarantino. Where Quentin goofed on BJ for jumping during a scene in the film when a gun went off. BJ is a funny dude, I can’t wait to see the movie!
John Malkovich was on the show this morning, and he was on to chat about a serious documentary he directed for HBO called “Which Way Home” (premieres Monday night at 9 PM). Boy was this interview a struggle, like I said on air…John sounded all artsy fartsy during the interview. He said he was in France during the interview, and all I can picture is him sitting on a fancy chair, wearing a fancy beret, and drinking a fancy glass of wine. BJ was enjoying the interview, but the rest of us were being put to sleep. I did ask him a stupid question…to see if this story I read on the intenet was true:
In a 2002 appearance at the Cambridge Union Society, when asked whom he would most like to "fight to the death," Malkovich replied that he would "rather just shoot" scientologist Tom Cruise.
He said he never said that, but did say something jokingly about journalists, but people blew it out of proportion. Based on this interview…we did get some fun emails:

Huge thanks to film director James Cameron…now here’s a guy that does good interview! John is know for his films, Titanic, Terminater 2, Aliens, True Lies, etc…but I will always remember him for his great job directing Vincent Chase in Aquaman (Entourage relate). Based on his role in Entourage, he joked about his most successful film is a film he never really made! James was on to chat about a movie coming out in December, called Avatar. He was on to talk about a 15 minute trailer that was showing in IMAX today…sadly it’s already sold out. Check it out at www.avatarmovie.com
