Day 807 (08/26/09) BJ Pisses People Off!
Huge thanks to Rev Run from RUN DMC & MTV’s reality show…Run’s House. He was on to chat about his Best Selling book: Take Back Your Family – which is now out on paperback. Rev Run is a deep dude, has lots of words of wisdom, and seems like a good dude…he got a kick out of my intro, the sad part is that it’s a true story:
It’s because of our next guest…I once scuffed my chin & it was all his fault….back when I was a break dancer…a bad one at that…I thought it would be cool to look like my favorite group and wear my sneakers with no laces…that is until I was listening to” it’s like that” & decided to jump down & do a windmill…only I lost my footing & landed on my FACE!!! Please welcome to the show Rev Run!!!!
He told me that he takes no accountability for what happened to me since he never told me to do the windmill….man I was such a klutz…which didn’t bode well for break dancing.
We had a listener named Bill on the show, he’s been dating a single mom for the last 6 months & wanted advice on how he should disciple her kids…we all agreed that even though his heart is in the right place he shouldn’t be involved in punishing her kids, since the relationship is too new…BJ then laid into the guy, and he hung up on us. I guess he wasn’t the only one that was mad at BJ for that:

I have been a long time listener since the Buzz days. I listen to your show because it usually makes me laugh. Toppy's laugh, RR comic relief, Rev's I.B.S, Steve's creepiness, and your words of wisdom. I'm done!!! Lately it's been way to serious. Not a lot to laugh at. Jim Brewer was refreshing. I am with a single Mom at 27. When I met her 6 years ago I made great money, had a nice house and the means to having very stable life. Since the crash of the housing market my pay has been reduced significantly, lost my bonus which in turn is a part of my salary and my house has been foreclosed on. I am not a LOSER RADIO MAN!!! i AM A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE YOU D-BAG!!! I HAVE BEEN PROVIDING AND TAKING CARE OF HER KIDS, WHO NOW CALL ME DAD FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. THEY HAD NO SENSE OF DIRECTION AND NO DISCIPLINE. YOU RAKED BILL OVER THE COALS FOR HIS FINANCIAL INSTABILITY. DID YOU BOTHER TO ASK WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT WAS THE CIRCUMSTANCES TO HIS MISFORTUNES? NO YOU DIDN'T. I WILL NOT HAVE YOU SIT ON YOUR HIGH CHAIR IN WHAT EVER BUILDING YOU REIGN IN WITH YOUR SALARY AND CALL ME LOSER. YOU DEMEAN YOUR WIFE ON THE AIR AND TURN AROUND AND CALL ME A LOSER. So my video camera froze (it is still frozen...looks like I need to buy a new one) so there is no Video Blog…but here is a fun story of a crazy woman attacking a camera man with a HOE!!!
