This morning we unveiled a new Nut Hut game…it’s inspired by the High Voltage Challenge, where we Tazed the Rev’s ass for AC/DC tix…this time it’s for KISS tickets & we call it: “Shock Me Shuffle.” There is a twist to this version…we spin a wheel on Double R’s iPHONE, and whatever body part it lands on is what we Taze on The Rev. The choices are: Hand, Foot, Right Cheek, Left Cheek, and “Love Gun.” Yes, there is a 25% chance that we will Taze the Rev’s junk this week!!!!!
So last night was the Emmy’s…who cares! Honestly, I had no idea that the Emmy’s were last night, hell..Double R didn’t even know the Emmy’s happened until we started rapping about it on air this morning. Well we didn’t really “rap” about it, although that would have been awesome if BJ broke out some sweet rhymes…but one problem…what rhymes with “30 ROCK”???
Tonight starts the “Week Of No Sleep” – tonight is Pearl Jam, tomorrow the Phoenix Coyotes & Tampa Bay Lightning play an NHL Exhibition game at the Comcast Arena in Everett, and on Thursday, Alice In Chains are playing at The Moore. Speaking of Alice In Chains…I got my hands on the new CD “Black Gives Way To Blue” – which comes out next week – wow, what an amazing CD…best record I’ve heard this year, hands down. It’s one of those disc’s that gets better with each listen as well…I must have listened to it 10 times this weekend. So damn good!
Thanks to everyone that came to the Poker Tournament at Destination Harley on Saturday…we had a great time going “All In For Cystic Fibrosis.” Scotty Don’t was there and shot some video….Thanks Scotty!!!!
Thanks to Hawk Fiend (Bryan) & Wee Hawk (Chris) for coming in for Hawk Talk with the 12th man…tough loss yesterday…damn it’s like Déjà Vu with all the injuries. UGH! We have the Bears coming to town this Sunday, and we had their super-fans on air with us—Bear Man. Here is a sweet description of Bear Man in WikiPedia
Don Wachter, also known as "Bearman", is a season ticket holder who decided in 1995 that he could also assist the team by cheerleading. The club allowed him to run across the field with a large Bears flag during player introductions and each team score. In 1996, he donned his "costume" of face paint, bear head and arms (a real bear), and a number 46 jersey. "Bearman" was forced to stop wearing his costume with the introduction of Staley Da Bear in 2003; however, in 2005 Wachter was allowed in costume again.
Today’s Video blog features some really cool gifts that our in studio guests Reid & Aryn brought us on Friday (Happy 30th Reid-the Dirty 30!!!), and check out video of the Shock Me Shuffle!
Here is the same VLOG for you iPHONE people.
