Yesterday & today have been brutal days for me...had to say goodbye to a tremendous human being...my uncle. I'm not gonna try and get sappy on this blog, although that would be easy to do, as that is where my head is at...but something struck me yesterday while at the funeral. there was a sign up...and on that sign it listed some of the virtues that my Uncle had: Compassion, Wisdom, Honesty, Wit, and Integrity. This really hit me...he truly did have all of those virtues, and not to get all "new-agey" & deep, but I feel like if we could leave this world with those virtues, we have lived a good life. I know no one is perfect, but these are virtues any of us could possess...sure it takes work, but as I overlooked all of the people that came to pay respect to my Uncle...I realized he embodied all of these virtues...and all of us knew it. The guy kicked some serious ass, to put it bluntly.
Ok, so i got a little sappy in the blog...sorry, that's just where I am at.
