KISW Presents Jason Kertson & The Immortals
Autism Speaks, the largest resource agency in the U.S. providing assistance in the fight against autism, has invited Puyallup-based hard rock band Jason Kertson and The Immortals to perform at a benefit concert Friday, Feb. 3 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle. Kertson, the grandson of Rob Lind, a member of the the 1960s band The Sonics, is 14 and a 9th grader at Glacier View Junior High. His mastery of classic rock guitar and hard rock ethos has caught the attention of many notables in the music industry, including Dave Mustaine, lead singer of metal band Megadeth. Mustaine is mentoring Kertson, even suggesting The Immortals as a band name. Jason Kertson and The Immortals will be joined by Klover Jane at the Hard Rock.
Doors open at at 8PM on Friday, February 3rd and tickets are $10 advance, $15 at the door and available now through TicketWeb. The Hard Rock Cafe is located at 116 Pike Street, near Pike Place Market. The show is for 21 and older.
