It is on the back of my neck. It is a bleeding heart fuschia flower bud with a key wrapped around it. It is symbolic to me because I have had a rough life - lots of abuse and painful relationships. The bleeding heart represents my heart. It is purple which is not only my favorite color but signifies the purple heart of courage (the courage for me to go on). The key wrapped around it is...well...the key to my heart! It is protecting the heart by being somewhat of a shield.
It is my first tattoo and done by Peter Dominguez of Action Tattoo in Auburn.
