Today was a rough day to have fun on air…when you report on stories like the idiot that killed Officer Brenton, and the idiot that killed all those people at Ft. Hood, it’s tough to try and find humor in all the other stuff we read about.
Today started off with a HUGE laugh…Toppy was out sick, and Mono-Nick filled in on the board for the first time ever. Usually we use Steve Rock, but he is holding down the 10-2pm shift until a replacement for Ricker is found. Based on what happened this morning…I’ve got 2 words for Topshelf: JOB SECURITY!
Today we spent some time talking about this story. To me, this reeks of people assuming the role of the “Thought Police” & blowing things out of proportion.
What a great weekend…Thanks to everyone for coming to the big Halloween show on Saturday at the Snoqualmie Casino. What a fun night…I was excited to not only open for RATT (with The New Originals), but I was stoked to dress up as my wrestling hero – “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and my lady dressed up as Hulk Hogan.
