RMHC Hockey Challenge Presented by the Seattle Thunderbirds
Started in 1998 as a game between rival Microsoft divisions, with the help of the Seattle Thunderbirds and dedicated hockey fans, the event has grown to include numerous games featuring teams from Microsoft and an All-Star Game with T-Birds alum, local and national celebrities. The event has raised more than $4.2 million dollars for RMHC over the past 14 years.

Steve the Producer of the BJ Shea Morning Experience on KISW has participated as a player in the actual RMHC Hockey Challenge, which raised more than $170,000 to support RMHC and the families at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House from the 2013 game alone. Many KISW staff members and Rockaholics also show up in support of the cause and to cheer on STP, who says that even though his team wound up losing the game, the fact that we were able to raise money for an awesome cause was all that mattered!
